Lou Doillon (1982-) is a Franco-British singer, actress and model. She is the daughter of the British actress Jane Birkin and the French film director Jacques Doillon. She is the half sister of the French actress Charlotte Gainsbourg and the late British photographer Kate Barry, on her mother's side, and the French actress Lola Doillon on her father's side.
Lou Doillon played in more than 15 movies so far in her career, most of them being French-speaking films including Maïwenn's drama masterpiece 'Polisse'. She also appeared in the American TV-show a lot of young people know around the world: Gossip Girl. But Doillon is also a fashion icon for many people and this is something that many brands have understood.

Indeed, Doillon was featured in different fashion campaigns such as Gap Inc, Pirelli Calendar and the jeans brand Lee Cooper. She was also the muse and face of the international luxe brand Givenchy. In Spring-Summer 2007, she was featured in the fashion advertisement campaign for the fashion brand Chloé.
Discreet in the media, this fashionable Lou has proved along the years that she has now mastered both the boyish and 'BoBo' styles that she wears perfectly. With or without red lipstick, with or without make up, Lou Doillon has become the fashion icon to many, the fashionista that magazine love to follow, the French woman that represents many other French women in international magazine. In their article on French Girl Beauty At Every Age, the international Harper's Bazaar said of Doillon that "Jane Birkin's daughter, a model, actress and musician, is the ultimate bohemian artist, with the hair to match".
