There are many things that you can do in London during summer time. Many things that you can do on your own or with your friends, many places to visit with your family even, but there are places where you should go to on a date. And on the other hand, there are places that are perfect for dates. Many people say that it is better to go on dates in the winter than it is during the summer - as it is better to enjoy the sun and warmth on your own. And even though it is easy to agree with that statement, it is also easy to enjoy the beauty of a city such as London during summer time. And this is why I have decided to present to you my 10 favourite places in London to go on a date. Don't worry, I have also included exit plans. Like that, if the date goes wrong, at least you can enjoy the place itself.
1- Hyde Park

1- Hyde Park
One of London's biggest park, Hyde Park offers you a place to have a walk, talk, relax and enjoy. If the beauty of the place doesn't work on your on its own, you can share with your date a drink and/or meal in the cafe/restaurant by the lake, or even sharing a pedalo and move among swans. You can also rent a London Bike and, by a sunny afternoon, drive from one side of the park to the other and enjoy the company of your dates - and the fact that no words are necessary. On top of that, the place is a very cool place to be, even if the date goes wrong.
2- Museums
London is a city that welcomes so many museums that it is difficult for one human being not to forget to mention one. One of the most positive point about all of these London museums is that most of them have free collections that allow you to discover - or re-discover - important pieces of arts. A free date that can make you become and look smarter. What else is needed?
3- A walk by the Thames, Southbank
To me, there is nothing better than a walk from London Bridge to London Eye. Whether it is sunny or rainy, warm or windy, this walk offers each time something a little bit magical. If you know you are with someone who you can talk to, or share a nice moment of non-awkward silence, this walk can become magical for you, as well. And if the person you dates shows you signs of annoyance, leave them by an Underground station and enjoy the walk on your own. You'll see, it's very relaxing...
4- London Zoo
Now I have never been to the London Zoo, but I believe this could be a great place to go on a date. Seeing animals for the first time in real life can be a good way to start a conversation. And if the date turns out to be a Dudley, you can also ask H.P. to out them I one of the cages.
5- Primrose Hill
I guess that after you realise that the header of the blog, you will understand that I have a crush for Primrose Hill. To relax, to escape the fuss of the city, the noise of the urban life, to enjoy a wonderful view during daytime of night-time. On your own or with a date, this place is just perfect. One of the most perfect ones in London. And if the date is slightly too annoying, you can decide to avoid them and enjoy the view instead.
6- Saint Paul's Cathedral
Now that is a place in London that is as pretty inside as it is outside. One of the most imposing and wonderful buildings in the city can also be seen from different part of London, which makes the building be that charming one that we know. Walks by Saint Paul's, drinks with a view on the cathedral, everything is romantic for you to bring your date in this area and enjoy the place. And if you get bored, you just have to cross a bridge to arrive to the Tate Modern.
7- Greenwich
Not only is the view fantastic up there, but the view is fantastic up there. A little bit of climbing to the observatory that is worth doing when we know what kind of view is for us up there. With a park to relax, a view to enjoy and the observatory to learn a bit about the world we live in, this place is perfect for a date.
8- National Portrait Gallery
Even though the museum is one of my favourites in London, by the National Portrait Gallery I mainly mean the cafe they have on the third floor. Great for afternoon tea and coffee, the place is very fancy and dreamy because of its unique view of this part of London. Let's just hope your date is as dreamy as the view...

9- The Shard
Talking of the view, what better place to have a view of London than this big sky scraper, taller than any other building in the city? A bit pricey to visit, the cocktails are said to be not-too-expensive-for-London and overly attractive because of the view. Many people, just like me, have been willing to get into this place to record this Snapchat video everyone does. So why not bringing a date and, have someone to be amazed with?
10- Having a trip on the Thames.
The old cliché of taking a boat with a date, a lover, to enjoy the brisk of air on your face, on your skin, in your hair making it dance everywhere is part of this list for one main reason: the view. This way, you can discover London the way you have not yet. You can go under London Bridge and have a different perspective. You can be hugged by your date because you are suddenly too cold - or at least you pretend you are. How romantic? And if the date is bad, push them out... Oops!

And there are many other places that are perfect for first dates - as well as second and third ones. So just go out there, be adventurous and find a place that is as charming and fantastic as you, with a not-so-obvious exit plan JUST IN CASE...
