Finally, the moment that many people have been waiting for has finally arrived: D.I.D are to release a new EP, which officially announces their return to the musical scene.
They made this announcement by revealing their new track 'Fast Food' during Huw Stephens's Album Time of BBC Radio 1 last night. The track is part of an eponym 4-track EP out on September 18. (source)
The fan-base of this band from Nottingham had decided to support them by sharing their excitement on social media, pre- and post-track. A few seconds after Stephens announced their song would be the next, Twitter became crazy in love with D.I.D, though not as much as after the last notes were played.

This song had already been played on many occasions, most recently at Truck Festival, where the support D.I.D had received was incredible. Had the band been afraid by the reception the song and their return would get, they can now relax and enjoy a sunny Summer day.

Fun fact: July 21, or the day they released this new song, was the National Junkfood Day, like Stephens pointed it out. Was it just a coincidence, or just a way to tell us that fast food is actually healthy?
