On Monday December 22, the news of the death of a music legend was announced around the world. At the age of 70, after a long cancer batter, the English rock and blues singer, Joe Cocker, passed away, leaving behind generations of fans with their memories.

Joe Cocker, the legendary interpret of "Unchain My Heart" and "You Are So Beautiful" with the most famous hoarse voice was on of the keys of the music of the 20th and 21st century. With his famous "You Can Leave Your Hat On", not only did he create a song able to make Kim Basinger's striptease sensual, but he is also at the origin of one of the sexiest song of all time.


The public discovered him for the first time on the stage of Woodstock, in 1969, when he sang a cover of the famous Beatles's song "With a Little Help From My Friends".




The singer who recorded 23 albums during his career and was awarded one of the 100 greatest singers of all time by Rolling Stone magazine and who also did a cameo in 'Across the Universe' (2007), will be greatly missed my his fellow singers who expressed their sadness on Twitter.
