• Françoise Dorléac •
Françoise Dorléac (1942-1967) was a French actress and also the elder sister of the French actress Catherine Deneuve. Both of the sisters starred in one of Dorléac's last movie, 'The Young Girls of Rochefort' (Les Demoiselles de Rochefort) by Jacques Demy released in 1967. She also appeared in 'L'Homme de Rio' by Philppe de Broca, 'La Peau ouce' by François Truffaut and 'Cul-de-sac' by Roman Polanski. Her last apparition was in 'Un cerveau d'un milliard de dollars' by Ken Russell, movie which was released in 1967, the year of the car accident in which she died.
French, ginger, beautiful, powerful and with a fringe, Françoise Dorléac is yet another woman that I not only admire for her fashion style but also her way of being. She was the perfect incarnation of the idea of a French woman: always looking serious and strict, aka not showing emotions and feelings.

Françoise Dorléac was also the perfect example of the elegance à la française. Classy and charming, she could look an independent and powerful woman wearing a designer dress as well as with an outfit made of shirts and jeans.

With her eyes full of life and her smile full of love, Françoise Dorléac is my
fashion inspiration of the week.
