Jane Birkin, OBE (1946 - ) is a British actress and singer. The one I consider as the most British of the French actresses (or the other way around) is the mother of the late British photographer Kate Barry, the French actress Charlotte Gainsbourg and the French singer Lou Doillon. Well-known in France for her relationship with the famous French singer Serge Gainsbourg, she is also memorable for being the interpret of "Je t'aime... moi non plus", the controversial duet she shared with her then partner-in-life.
