My Little Box

12 September 2014

It has arrived! What a lot of French women expatriate in the UK have been waiting for for more than a year has finally arrived in Prince George's country. The box from MyLittleParis, MyLittleBox, is finally available in the UK. But what is that box exactly?

*

In 2008, willing to share her bons plans from Paris, a French woman, Fany Péchiodat, has launched her concept with her website MyLittleParis.comAt first, only a dozen of people were registered to the newlestter; far from the current number, more than half a million.

Bons plans, bars, restaurants, e-shops, exhitions, etc... If there is something interested to do in Paris, you should find the address on the website.

Becoming rapidly very successful - at the time, almost every Parisian woman talked or heard about MyLittleParis -, this new and inventive concept had to expand, MyLittleParis had to grow.

With the export of MyLittleParis to other French big cities at first, Marseille (MyLittleMarseille) and Lyon (MyLittleLyon), Fany Péchiodat enlarged the concept as well, offering a unique service of addresses and monthly surprises to her members. MyLittleWedding and MyLittleKids were therefore created as well as... MyLittleBox.

The concept of MyLittleBox is simple. Since the beginning of 2013, each month, each registered member receives a box in their mailbox for 16,90€ (France) or £14.95 (UK)

Thanks to its rapid success, MyLittleParis has managed to create partnerships with brands as Dove, Repetto, Nuxe, Nat&Nin, Mark&Spencer, Calvin Klein, Occitane, etc... Therefore, in each box, you will find a couple of elements from one or two of the partner brands, as well as cosmetics, fashion or house accessories from MyLittleParis.

The theme of the box changes each month, which means that there will never be two months with the same product, never two months with the same box. Indeed, MyLittleParis has also become successful thanks to Kanako Kuno's drawings, who is also doing the month's illustrations of the MyLittleBox.

Arriving in London a year ago, I became very sad realising the box could not be delivered there. Happy like a child on Christmas Day when my sister brought me one when she first visited, I've become very annoying girl talking about the concept to my European friends during the following week. This morning for example, I just had to say "the box I told you about" for my friend to know what I was talking about. Oops!

The box is now here. I have subscribed and if you want to do the same, go on MyLittleBox.co.uk . You will love it.

My new question for Fany Péchiodat is: "When will the GambettesBox (box of tights) arrive to London?" I'm just afraid my legs will be cold during the winter if I can't cover them...
